Michigan Fiber Festival 2008
The goal of the Michigan Fiber Festival Inc. is to promote the interests of individuals and or businesses related to natural fiber, to advance and continue high quality standards of business practice in the natural fiber area, and to further the development and knowledge within the fiber community. We will accomplish these goals by providing an environment conducive to the growth and expansion of the fiber community within the Midwest. We have developed a yearly forum to learn, show, display, and exchange fiber animals, products and knowledge. We strive to advance fiber arts and related programs within the community, state and Midwest, by offering a showcase and exhibition for the fiber animal industry; and by encouraging and nurturing youth involvement in the fiber industry and fiber arts. The Michigan Fiber Festival Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) an all volunteer membership organization. The volunteers come from a pool of association members who elect the directorship and governing board. All association members help shape the structure and development of the festival through their voting rights and volunteer time. Lists of all current committees are available and everyone is encouraged to get involved within their areas of interest. This can be your opportunity to make this the best festival in the Midwest. The only way The Michigan Fiber Festival will take place each year and continue to grow is through the continued support of its membership. Your association membership helps support the festival and your volunteer time ensures the festival will happen each year.
